Inspired a lot by [[Andrew Huberman]] I have incorporated the following morning routine: (this is a big thing for me, having thought for the longest time that I was averse to routine)
- Sunlight within the first 10-15 minutes of waking up
Fixes the circadian rythm
- Get cold within the first 10-15 minutes of waking up
Wakes me up
(but not for the reason you think it does, it's not the cold itself – the freezing – but the body tries to heat up when it is exposed to cold, and increased body temperature is associated with wakefulness and alertness)
